The Northwestern Advanced Degree Consulting Alliance (ADCA) is a graduate-led organization dedicated to preparing PhD students, postdoctoral scholars, and advanced degree researchers for careers in management and discipline-specific consulting.

ADCA's pro bono consulting program, NUBono, serves organizations addressing complex, real-world business challenges by connecting them with advanced degree talent from across Northwestern University — including the Feinberg School of Medicine, McCormick School of Engineering, Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, and Medill School.

Through structured engagements, NUBono matches industry partners with interdisciplinary teams trained in complex problem-solving and business strategy. NUBono teams apply expertise in research, technology, and innovation to deliver actionable, data-driven solutions with real-world impact.

How an engagement works

Projects run over the course of an 8–10 week academic quarter, with structured milestones and regular communication with team leadership. The ADCA Board provides strategic oversight throughout the engagement.

Engagements are scoped to fit the quarter calendar, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the depth and rigor our partners expect.
